WHY IS IT SO IMPORTANT TO PICK UP YOUR DOG POOP? 🤢

Copied post from" Go for Walkies"

We all know it’s one of the worst jobs as a dog owner or Walker but it is important that the poop gets scooped and hears a few reasons why.

ā—ļøDog poop is filled with more parasites and diseases than most waste out there, some of the things found areĀ

* Roundworms

* Salmonella

* E. coli

* Giardia

* Leptospira

* Parvo virus

* Coliform bacteria

ā—ļøIt can take at least a year for the dog waste to break down, so if you ever think that it will just ā€˜wash away’ IT IS NOT TRUE. That poop will be there for a while, ready for someone to stand in šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø.Ā

ā—ļøIt is not a fertiliser! Unlike cow waste, dog waste is full of completely different components and can damage the surrounding environment rather than fertilise it.Ā

ā—ļø It’s just common curtesy šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø You probably don’t want to stand in dog waste and neither do i and neither does my 6 year old because let’s face it, it’s really gross 😷.Ā

So pick it up, poo bags are not expensive, a nappy bag will do! (Watch those nails though), there are even biodegradable bags out there to help with our environment. So I’m asking you, if you don’t pick it up why not?Ā

P.S - Picking your dog poop up in a bag and throwing it in the trees is about as pointless as emptying your kitchen bin and throwing the bag in your living room šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļøšŸ™„šŸ¤¢
